How is a workshop structured?

  • All of our workshops are 3 hours long, unless stated otherwise.
  • All workshops, recordings and notes are accessible via your online portal (www.learn.smartprep.co.za)
  • Workshops are designed to be interactive & engaging, and questions will be allowed for throughout.
  • Content covered will be adjusted based on relevant test announcements.

How long are recordings available for?

Workshop recordings are available in your online portal until your test has been written. To access the recording, please select the ‘My Workshops’ tab, select the appropriate workshop and view ‘Past Recordings’ in the bottom right of your screen.

I purchased a recording, when will I receive it?

 Recordings will be sent out twice daily. Please note that sending of recordings is not an automated process, so please allow for a 12-hour turnaround time.

Minimum Attendance and Refunds

SmartPrep reserves the right to cancel a workshop if we do not meet a minimum of 5 registrants per workshop. In such cases, you will receive an email with the various refund options available.

When Do I Receive the Meeting Invite?

Please note that we no longer send out ZOOM links as all our the workshops are available in your online portal via www.learn.smartprep.co.za. When it is time for the workshop to commence, log into your profile and follow the link on the “My Workshops” page.

What if I can't attend the live workshop?

All workshops are recorded and are accessible in your portal once it has finished processing, which is usually an hour or 2 after completion.
Please note though that the recording is an additional resource, and that we always encourage you to attend the live workshop.
SmartPrep cannot be held liable for any glitches or errors that may impact the quality or outcome of the recording, therefore we cannot give refunds should the recording fail. In such instances (and when available), we will try to find a previous recording that has a similar content breakdown as an alternative.

I attended a workshop from the previous test series & the link has expired. Will you extend it?

Unfortunately, we cannot extend the links free of charge as there are administration and storage fees associated with keeping these recordings accessible.
If you attended the live workshop, and would like to re-access the recordings, we will gladly apply a 40% discount to the purchase price.

What happens when there is loadshedding?

We will always do our best to work around it and reschedule a workshop. However, if this is not possible due to time constraints, the instructor will record the workshop at the earliest opportunity and we will send out the recording thereafter.
